Alright, so it does feel a little wrong to write about a song that was released almost a decade ago, from a band everyone is surely familiar with. But, I like being controversial (or better yet, pretending that uncontroversial things are indeed controversial).

Anyway, it’s an obvious candidate for a “omg first post of the year” post, and while I am not as disillusioned as Mr. Gibbard is about January 1st, he certainly does make a lot of sense.

Either way, I hope everyone is off to a good start. I know I am.
